You will need

  • Ingredients for 4 persons;
  • - 1 rabbit, cut into small pieces;

  • - onion;

  • - 2 carrots;

  • - 100 g of bacon;

  • - 200 g of any fresh mushrooms;

  • - 750 ml of light beer;

  • - salt and pepper to taste;

  • - olive oil.

Instruction manual

1

We chop the onion, cut the carrots into not very thick slices, cut the bacon into small strips, and the mushrooms into medium sized slices. In a pan with a thick bottom, heat a small amount of olive oil. Pieces of the rabbit salt and pepper, fry in a pan on each side until golden brown, transfer to a plate.

2

Fry the onion in a saucepan over medium heat until translucent, add the bacon and mushrooms. Increase the heat, fry the mushrooms with onions and bacon, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.

3

Return the pieces of the rabbit to the pan and pour the beer. We simmer all the ingredients for 10 minutes without a lid so that the alcohol evaporates. Reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer the meat under the lid for 45-55 minutes. Before serving, if necessary, salt and pepper the dish a little. As a side dish, you can serve boiled potatoes, vegetables or rice.
