If you don’t want to spend a lot of time on baking, then bake a simple but very tasty pie that almost always turns out - honey gingerbread.

You will need

  • - wheat flour - 2 cups;

  • - honey - 150 g;

  • - granulated sugar - 0.5 cups;

  • - lump sugar - 2 pcs.;

  • - water - 2-3 teaspoons;

  • - egg - 1 pc.;

  • - almonds - 50 g;

  • - soda - 0.5 teaspoon;

  • - cinnamon, cloves to taste.

After breaking the egg, place it in a separate deep cup and, mixed with granulated sugar, carefully rub. Then add honey, preferably liquid, baking soda, as well as ground cinnamon and cloves. The amount of the last two components depends only on your taste. By the way, if you wish, you can add raisins or dried apricots to the future honey mantle. After mixing the mixture properly, pour wheat flour into it. Knead the dough on the prepared work surface for at least 5 minutes.

Place two sugar cubes in a clean frying pan without oil. After diluting the burnt sugar with water, mix everything properly. Let the resulting mixture boil, then add it to the bulk. Thanks to the burnt sugar, the honey dough dough will become dark.

Thoroughly oiled baking sheet with sunflower oil, sprinkle with a small amount of wheat flour. This is necessary so that the baking was easy to get out of the mold after cooking.

Place the resulting dough on the prepared pan. Spread it over the entire surface of the mold so that it lies in a uniform layer. Pour the almonds, crushed into very small pieces, onto the flattened dough. By the way, almonds can be replaced with any nuts.

Bake the dish in the oven, the temperature of which is 180 degrees, until fully cooked, that is, for 15-20 minutes. After baking to cool, remove it from the pan, then cut into portioned pieces and serve to the table. Honey mowing is ready!
