In order to prepare cranberry sauce, you will need:
- 1 tablespoon of butter;
- ½ cup finely chopped onion;
- 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped rosemary;
- ½ cup lightly salted chicken broth;
- 450 g canned sauce from whole cranberries;
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar.
- Melt the butter in a medium thick pan with a temperature slightly above average.
- Add onion and rosemary and simmer for 3 minutes, or until onion is soft.
- Enter the broth, cranberry sauce and vinegar. Stir for 2 minutes until the cranberry sauce dissolves.
- Boil until the sauce thickens, about 6 minutes.
