Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into thin circles. In a baking dish, lay out potatoes, salt, pepper and nutmeg in layers.

Fill everything with cream. They should cover our potatoes completely. You can use cream of any fat content, it all depends on your taste.

Pre-grate the cheese. Take only hard cheese, sausage will not give such a taste and effect. Sprinkle our dish with cheese and send the pan to the oven, which is heated to 180 degrees. Cooking time 1 hour 15 minutes.
