When buying juice in a store, you canβt always know what youβve acquired - a natural drink or a mixture of cellulose, colorants, preservatives and flavorings.
We ourselves will prepare an orange drink based on natural juice, delicious and refreshing.
At family feasts, this juice is in constant demand, especially in the summer.

Pick your recipe
You will need
- Large oranges, 2 pcs.
- Chilled boiled water (or filtered) 4 l;
- Sugar 400g;
- Citric acid (powder) 1 tsp without top

Pour oranges over boiling water, wipe and put in the freezer for 2 hours.

Cut oranges into slices, together with the peel (!) Pass through a meat grinder.
Pour the mixture with water (1 l), let stand for 10 minutes.
Drain the mass first through a colander (it will hold up large pieces), then through a sieve.

In filtered juice, add another 3 liters of water, sugar and citric acid. We mix until the crystals of sugar and acid are dissolved, pour into bottles and let it brew for about an hour before use.

Oranges are frozen so that they more fully show their taste. Oranges from the freezer are easy to cut.
Useful advice
You can increase the yield of juice by taking not two oranges, but 4, 6. Accordingly, increase the flow rate of water and other components.
You can take 2-3 tangerines instead of one orange. The taste of juice will become even more saturated.
From the orange pulp remaining after pressing, you can cook jam, adding a little sugar.
