Turkey with potatoes is a hearty enough dish that is perfect for a weekend.

  • 600 grams of turkey fillet,

  • 800 grams of potato

  • one teaspoon of ground paprika,

  • 2 pinches of curry

  • some salt

  • some ground pepper

  • 7 cloves of garlic,

  • half a teaspoon of seasoning for poultry,

  • half a teaspoon of potato seasoning,

  • 2 bay leaves

  • sprig of rosemary,

  • green onions for decoration and serving.

Peel the potatoes, cut into slices and put in a bowl. Add seasoning for potatoes, paprika, basil, salt a little (to taste) and put chopped garlic cloves. Garlic can be finely chopped or minced. Mix potatoes with spices well and add vegetable oil.

We wash the meat and cut into small pieces.

Pieces of turkey are put in a bowl. Add seasoning for poultry, curry to the meat, slightly salt and pepper to taste, mix. In a bowl with turkey, add slices of potato and mix, add two leaves of laurel.

We shift the meat and potatoes into a baking dish. If desired, you can add rosemary. Cover the form with foil. Bake a turkey for one hour at 180 degrees.

Remove the foil, check the meat for preparedness and put the form in the oven to brown for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished hot dish with green onions and any fresh herbs. We gather relatives at the table and enjoy a delicious lunch (or dinner).
