Fettuccine is a type of Italian pasta. There are a huge number of options for their preparation: fettuccine with seafood, vegetables, sauces, etc. Fettuccine with mushrooms is very simple and fast.

You will need

    • fettuccine - 65 grams;
    • cream - 200 milliliters;
    • porcini mushrooms - 80 grams;
    • onion - 5 grams;
    • garlic - 2 grams;
    • olive oil - 15 milliliters;
    • white wine - 30 milliliters;
    • hard cheese - 10 grams;
    • saffron - 0.1 grams;
    • basil - 2 grams;
    • salt
    • pepper to taste.

Pour cold water into the pan, add a little salt, put on medium heat and bring to a boil. Add fettuccine there and boil until almost cooked. Throw in a colander and leave the glass to excess water.

Porcini mushrooms thoroughly rinse from sand and dirt in cold running water, clean, rinse again and let dry slightly. By the way, other mushrooms, for example, champignons, are suitable for cooking this dish - it will turn out very tasty anyway. Dip the mushrooms in boiling water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Then remove them from the heat, drain, cool and cut into small pieces.

Peel, rinse, dry and chop the garlic and onion into small cubes.

Rinse the basil in cold running water, dry and cut into thin strips.

Pour olive oil into a pan and put on medium heat. When the oil is warm, put the porcini mushrooms, garlic and onions in the pan. Fry lightly for 1-2 minutes. Then add white wine and saffron and fry until the liquid has completely evaporated.

Then add cream (33% fat) into the pan and evaporate until a thick sauce is obtained. Stir constantly.

In the creamy mushroom sauce, put the fettuccine, salt and pepper to taste and warm well under the lid, stirring constantly.

Put the finished dish on a large round plate. Sprinkle grated cheese and finely chopped basil on top.

Useful advice

You can also experiment with the ingredients of this dish, for example, if you add the same amount of ham, chopped straw, or boiled chicken fillet to the mushrooms during frying. It also turns out very tasty.
