You will need

  • - 250 g of hunting sausages;

  • - 2 chicken fillets;

  • - 1 sweet green bell pepper;

  • - 1 petiole of celery;

  • - 1 onion;

  • - 5 cloves of garlic;

  • - 4 cups of chicken broth;

  • - 2 glasses of long grain rice;

  • - bay leaf, cayenne pepper, vegetable oil, hot ketchup, black pepper, salt.

Peel the garlic and onions. Cut the onions into thin half rings, and chop the garlic with a sharp knife or use a garlic squeezer, if you have one. Peel the bell peppers from the seeds, cut into 4 parts, cut into strips. Cut petiole celery into slices.

Cut hunting sausages and raw chicken into small pieces.

In a stewpan, warm the vegetable oil, put slices of sausages and chicken in it, fry for 5 minutes. Add onions, garlic, peppers, celery. Season with cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, mix. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Rinse long-grain rice, put it in a saucepan, cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour in chicken stock, put 3 bay leaves on top. Bring the jambalaya to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat, cover, cook for about 20 minutes. It may take more or less time - the rice should become soft, but not fall apart.

Add hot ketchup to the prepared jambalaya, mix. Arrange the dish on plates, serve hot to the table.
