Once, back in Soviet times, in the special literature on family psychology a case was described from the practice of a family psychotherapist. The newlyweds all the time argued about how to cook sausages. One of the spouses said that it was necessary to remove the cellophane film before cooking, and the other, accordingly, claimed that it was necessary to cook in the film so that the sausage did not boil. The confrontation reached the point that they turned to a psychologist. However, this did not help either - after three months of living together and heated debates about sausages, the couple broke up. The presented article is designed to dot all the “i” in such a simple, seemingly simple matter as cooking sausages, so that this curious happening.

Instruction manual

1

The first option is cooking sausages. Remove the cellophane film from the sausages. If the sausages are in a natural shell, then it does not need to be removed.

So that sausages without a film when cooking are still guaranteed not to burst and not boil, you can make several punctures with a thin needle.

2

Put the sausages in a pan, pour cold water so that the water covers them by about 1-3 centimeters. For a brighter taste, you can pour sausages not with water, but with tomato juice - then they will acquire a very piquant, almost exquisite taste. Put the dishes on medium heat, bring to a boil. When the water (or juice) boils, let the sausages cook for another 2-3 minutes, no more - otherwise they will boil and lose their taste. Immediately after cooking, remove the sausages from the water (tomato juice).

3

In the same way, you can cook sausages in the microwave. With only one difference - pour sausages with boiling water, not cold water. Cook them at maximum power for 3 minutes.

4

The second option is cooking sausages.

Put the sausages cleaned from the film in a double boiler or on a special grill in a steaming pot. Steam sausages for about 10 minutes. Such sausages are very tender and juicy.

5

The third option is the easiest.

Just put sausages with a removed cellophane film in a microwave oven, turned on at the lowest power, for about 3 minutes. In fairness, I must say that no one can take a cooked or fried sausage prepared in this way.

note

Among professional chefs, there is an opinion that sausages are a finished product and do not need to be cooked at all. And the fact that they are cooked everywhere is a matter of taste for each and many years of habit.
