A dish on which you simply lay out fresh, thoroughly washed fruits can hardly be called a fruit plate in the generally accepted sense. Because in most cases, this dish is not served as a batch, all fruits should be cut into small pieces and peeled of seeds and inedible peels. To arrange a fruit plate, it is desirable to use sufficiently dense, not watery fruits. Canned fruits should be served separately from fresh fruits.

Cut apples and pears into slices, peel the seeds and hard core.

Citrus fruits, with the exception of tangerines, are usually cut into thin slices along with the zest. Mandarins have a more delicate structure, so either they are served whole, or they are skinned and taken apart into slices.

Peel the bananas and cut into 3-4 parts or circles.

Fruits that oxidize and darken when exposed to air should be sprinkled with lemon juice. This primarily applies to apples, pears and bananas.

So that juicy fruits and berries do not get windy, they can be slightly greased with a gelatin solution or special transparent jelly for cakes.

Powder sugar and ground cinnamon have an excellent masking and decorating effect. Just lightly sprinkle fruit and the dish will sparkle in a new way.
