It is best for him to take slightly sour varieties of apples, in this case the cake will come out especially juicy and fragrant. Immediately after cooking, it may seem a little dry, so do not rush to serve it, wait a few hours, and you will be surprised at how much its taste and texture change.

In a clean bowl, mix 200 g of flour with 1 tsp. baking powder, add 100 g of sugar and 1 egg to them. Well-chilled margarine grate on a coarse grater, add it to the resulting mass. Using a mixer, mix the ingredients together, after which further kneading of the dough is best done manually.

Roll a small bun from the dough. Well grease a baking dish with a diameter of 26 cm, sprinkle it with breadcrumbs. Put the dough inside the mold, distribute it with your hands so that it completely covers the bottom and forms a side 3 cm high. Paste the bottom of the pie with a fork in several places, this will help to prevent the formation of bubbles during baking.

Peel the apples, cut each of them into 4 parts, remove the core. Put the resulting slices on the dough.

Combine softened butter, 125 g sugar, 1 egg, lemon zest and the remaining flour in a separate bowl. Using a mixer, mix the ingredients into a homogeneous mass. Whip the cream into a stable foam and gently move the spoon from the bottom up into the future filling of the cake.

Pour the apples spread on the dough in a mass, sprinkle the surface of the pie 1 tbsp. sugar and almonds planed with thin petals.

In a conventional oven, the cake is baked at an average level at a temperature of 200 ° C for 35 minutes. In the microwave, it will take you less than 10 minutes on average to bake, but in either case, the cake should be allowed to stand in the hot oven for another 15 minutes after being turned off. After that, it will be easier for you to remove it from the form.
