You will need

  • - 30 g of yeast;

  • - 5 glasses of flour;

  • - 25 g of sugar;

  • - 1/3 teaspoon of salt;

  • - 4 tablespoons of sunflower oil.

Instruction manual

1

Make a yeast dough. Pour 2 cups of warm water into a saucepan, dissolve fresh yeast with sugar in it. Add 2/3 flour, stir. Then pour in the sunflower oil, mix thoroughly.

2

Pour the remaining flour onto the board, onto it is the semi-liquid dough and knead it with your hands. If the dough sticks, grease your hands with vegetable oil.

3

Transfer the dough into a saucepan, cover with a lid or towel, place in a warm place for 1.5 hours to rise. The dough should increase 2-3 times, knead it and put it again in the heat for a second rise.

4

Next, you can begin to sculpt the basket. Take a semicircular bowl, wrapping it with foil on the outside, and turn upside down. Roll out the dough and cut into long strips 1.5 cm wide.

5

Lay strips of dough on a bowl vertically, starting from the middle of the bottom, all around the circumference. Bind the vertical stripes horizontal, remove the excess.

6

Separate the braid from the remaining strips and wrap the bottom of the cup.

7

Put a flat saucer on top so that the bottom does not skew when baking.

8

Bake the product with the saucer for the first 15 minutes, then remove the saucer. Twist the braid for the basket handle, put on top of the cup and bake until it is rosy.

9

Attach the handle to the basket with toothpicks. Optionally, you can arrange the edges of the basket with cookies in the form of flowers. Fill the finished basket with colored eggs and sweets.
