Believe me, no expensive, but universally faceless masterpiece can be compared with a product made specifically for a particular person, taking into account the characteristics of his character and taste preferences, and even with a text specially created for him.

The inscription on the cake should be informative, but not too long. So the text “55th Anniversary” looks much more advantageous than, say, “Congratulations on your fifty-fifth anniversary!”. And the capacious inscription "ENTER" will say more than "To the IT department team from the grateful accounting staff", and placing a short text is easier than an ornate phrase.

It is advisable to indicate in the text the name of the person to whom the cake is intended, it is always very pleasant and memorable.

Since the cake is designed to create a festive and festive mood, the main emphasis should nevertheless fall not on the text, but on the decorative elements: flowers, figures, vignettes. But still, at first it is desirable to draw up a field with an inscription, and then place the decor: frame with curls, lay out flowers and other elements.

The inscription should not merge with the main tone, it is advisable to use contrasting colors. As a rule, the hero of the occasion is always photographed against the background of such a magnificent sweet gift and the congratulation text should be easily readable in the photo.

For text, always prepare a piece of clean and even “margin” for writing, there should not be any dents or bulges in this place, otherwise the inscription will necessarily turn out to be uneven.

Important! Always, before writing a text, always draw thin lines with a toothpick on the "field" within which the text will be written, otherwise it is very difficult to maintain a constant font height and slope. Toothpicks can be slightly marked and the location of the letters.

Do not be lazy beforehand on paper and create a sketch of the signature, so you can understand whether the word you conceived will go in the right place. Never make syllables on the cake! It looks messy and rude.

There are several ways to write ink for writing:

1.. Mix 2 tbsp. l butter with 2 tbsp. l sifted cocoa so that the butter is completely mixed with cocoa and forms a soft paste.

2. Melt a bar of black or white chocolate.

3. Roll up “sausages” or cut out “ribbons” from colored mastic.

4. Cook a creamy or protein cream and add food coloring to it.

5. Grate the chocolate and make an inscription from it through a stencil.

Colored "ink" can be applied directly to the cake (in a continuous line or by the dotted method), or on a sheet of polyethylene, under which the text drawn in pencil on paper is attached. This blank is put into the refrigerator and then the frozen letters are carefully transferred to the cake, smearing them with molten chocolate from below.

If you make a mistake while writing, do not remove the piece of the letter immediately, put the cake in the cold, then remove the frozen "mistake" and replace it with the newly written letter.
