Instruction manual

1

Put the purchased oil in the refrigerator. Shelf life at home depends on the date of manufacture, type of product, packaging, storage temperature. So butter in packs, packed in foil, is stored for no more than 20 days, in parchment - no more than 10 days. The storage temperature of the product should be from 0 to + 6 ° C. Sandwich oil is stored at the same temperature for 15 days. If you bought butter for the future, put it in the freezer. It can be stored in the freezer for two months at a temperature of -18 ° C.

2

Put butter in the oiler if you bought it by weight. The oil storage tank must be opaque, as in the light the oil oxidizes (a yellow rancid layer appears on top of it). The grease fitting must also close tightly, as this product absorbs odors. If you do not have a grease fitting, wrap the butter in foil or parchment; it cannot be stored in polyethylene.

3

Store the oil in the warmer months when there is no refrigerator in the following way. Pour cold water into a small saucepan, add salt in such an amount that a strong solution is obtained. Place butter wrapped in parchment or foil in a container of brine. Be sure to cover the dishes with oil lid. Change salt water twice a day and try to use oil as quickly as possible.

4

Melt the butter if it is still rancid. To do this, cut and discard the upper yellow layer, put it in a saucepan or pan. When the oil begins to boil, add two or three apple slices to it. Boil it, remove from heat, remove slices, let cool slightly. Put the dishes with butter on the fire again, put new apple slices in it, boil it again. Cool the oil by periodically whipping it with a fork until it cools.

note

The use of products fried in butter is harmful to health, as carcinogenic substances are formed during frying. In a healthy diet, it is better to use it in its natural form, for example, for making sandwiches.
