You will need

    • apples (hard
    • sweet and sour) - 1 kg;
    • oranges - 500 g;
    • sugar - 1 kg;
    • cinnamon - 3 g.

Instruction manual

1

Rinse the oranges under cold water and cut into small pieces, remove the seeds. Take a pot of three liters, pour a liter of water into it and heat to boiling point. Pour sugar into boiling water, stir well and cook for 6-7 minutes, reducing the heat to a minimum. Add oranges to the finished syrup and continue cooking for 15-17 minutes. Then remove from heat and set aside for an hour.

2

While oranges are soaked in syrup, take care of apples. Wash and wipe them thoroughly. Cut into two halves, remove the cores and completely peel. Cut the peel from the apples very thinly, so you save all the vitamins. Take a small saucepan, pour half a liter of water into it and bring to a boiling point. While the water is boiling, cut the apples into small slices.

3

Pour apple slices into boiling liquid and simmer them over low heat for 5 minutes, this will save your apples from darkening. After that, carefully remove the apple slices with a slotted spoon and place in an enameled bowl, pour cold water for 7 minutes. After the set time, drain the cold water, and sort through the apples: separate the boiled pieces from the total mass. Water in which pieces of apples were blanched, heat again to the boiling point, add sugar to it and let it simmer for 8-10 minutes. In the finished syrup, dip the cooled apple slices, bring to a boiling point and cook them for 10-12 minutes, reducing the heat to a minimum. Then set the resulting mixture aside for an hour.

4

Take a pan with orange slices and heat again to a boiling point, reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes, stirring constantly. Set the oranges in sugar syrup aside for another hour. Bring apples that have been infused for an hour to a boiling temperature and keep on low heat for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set the apple pan aside again for an hour. After the set time, for the third time, heat the orange slices to the boiling point, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook for 15 minutes, then add the apple slices in sugar syrup to them and mix thoroughly. Continue to simmer for 20 minutes, then add cinnamon and cook for another 5 minutes. Pour hot jam immediately into sterilized jars and roll up.
