You will need

Cut dried fruits into small slices, put in a cup, pour rum. Leave to soak for several hours. Beat with a mixer the slightly melted butter with sugar until smooth, at high speed for 7 minutes.

Introduce the eggs into the oil mass in turn. Beat each time for at least a minute. The butter-egg mixture should be soft and airy. Fry nuts lightly in a dry pan, chop into crumbs.

Add nut crumbs, orange jam and orange zest, a portion of flour mixed with baking powder to the egg-oil mixture. Keep whisking at low speed. Enter the rest of the flour in small portions in stages. Add dried fruits and the remains of rum to the mass, mix with a spoon until smooth.

Prepare a large detachable mold. Lubricate the inside with oil. Cover the bottom and sides of the mold with baking paper. Put the thick dough in a detachable form, smooth it well with a spoon. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Place the dough pan in the oven and bake for 50 minutes.

Remove the baked walnut muffin with orange peel jam and orange peel, cool without removing from the mold for 15 minutes. Remove the warm muffin from the pan and let it cool completely. Sprinkle the icing sugar with the cupcake and serve.

You can experiment with the recipe for this cupcake. Instead of nuts, you can add coconut, dried cranberries or cherries. Replace rum with liquor. Each time the taste will be new and deliver a lot of positive emotions.
