There are three main types of filters for water purification: jug type filters, filters that are worn on the tap (nozzles) and stationary filters.

Jug Filters

Such filters for water treatment are quite inexpensive, and not at the expense of the quality of treatment. They are convenient to use, both at home and in the country, even just on vacation, because they do not even require a water supply. Due to the variety of models of jug type filters, they successfully fit into any kitchen interior.

However, this method of water purification will require replaceable filters - cartridges. Not a problem. Water filter manufacturers have taken care of this. Moreover, replaceable filters are different. That is, depending on the type of water (hardness, quality) or the desired cleaning effect (antibacterial, with saturation with microelements such as iodine and fluorine). Water in such a filter will be cleaned quickly enough, at a rate equal to about one glass per minute.

If you decide to choose a filter for water purification of a jug type, remember the basic rule: a replacement filter must be replaced on time! Otherwise, the result of the filter is nullified. Detailed instructions on when exactly to gently change the filter are indicated on it, but on average, one cartridge is enough for 350 liters, that is, for a family of 3-4 people for a period of about a month.

Filters - nozzles

A faster, more powerful and more expensive option is water filters in the form of nozzles on the tap (or connected to the tap with a hose). Such filters will purify water even better, there will be less trouble with them than with jugs. In addition, they are available in two types, some will be permanently connected to the tap, others will need to be connected only for the duration of water treatment. Do not worry, if you are the owner of an exclusive design crane, there are many specially designed adapters that allow you to use filters - nozzles for any cranes.
