Swedish oatmeal cookies
As a result, you get cookies that are very similar to what you can buy in the IKEA chain of stores.
You will need:
- 120 g of flour;
- 140 g of butter;
- 200 g of oatmeal "Hercules";
- a pinch of vanillin;
- 2 eggs;
- a pinch of salt;
- 300 g of sugar.
Cooking:
Melt the butter and cool.
Grind oatmeal with a processor into a small, slightly heterogeneous crumb.
Add to the oatmeal wheat flour, sugar, a couple of a pinch of vanillin and salt.
Pour in oil and egg, mix everything until smooth and put the resulting dough in the refrigerator for an hour.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and prepare a baking sheet, covering it with baking paper.
Form large round billets from the dough, put on a baking sheet and send to the oven for 15 minutes.
Walnut Oatmeal Cookies
Not everyone loves walnuts in pastries because of their peculiar bitterness, but they give a unique taste to oatmeal pastries!
You will need:
- 300 g of wheat flour;
- 300 g oat flakes "Hercules";
- 300 g butter;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tsp baking powder;
- 300 g of sugar;
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 300 g of walnuts.
Cooking:
Remove the oil from the refrigerator shortly before cooking, so that it softens.
Pre-fry the walnuts in a dry pan and chop coarsely.
Beat butter with eggs.
Add flour, cinnamon and baking powder to the batter, beat until smooth. Pour chopped nuts and oatmeal, mix thoroughly.
The dough will turn out quite liquid, so put it on a baking sheet with a spoon.
Send to the oven, heated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
