If you want to make a healthy dish, wrap its components in foil and place in a hot oven. They will turn out soft, as when cooking, but will not lose moisture and nutrients. Roasted poultry meat with potatoes

Ingredients:

- 700 g of thigh fillet of turkey or chicken;

- 1.2-1.5 kg of potatoes;

- 4-6 tablespoons mayonnaise;

- 100 g of green onions;

- 0.5 tsp dried basil;

- 15-20 g of parsley;

- ground black pepper;

- salt;

- vegetable oil.

Wash the potatoes, peel them and cut into thick circles or semicircles. Salt the vegetable 1 tsp. salt and stir with your hands. Slice the turkey or chicken fillet into medium sized slices and place in a tight container or bowl. Chop the green onion, mix it with mayonnaise, a pinch of black pepper and 0.5 tsp. salt. Pour the resulting sauce into a bird, cover it loosely with a lid or cling film and refrigerate. Pickle it for 1.5-2 hours.

Open the foil 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking to brown the dish, making it more attractive.

Take a deep heat-resistant form, put it in foil, coat with vegetable oil and fill with potatoes. Spread the meat with the marinade in a second layer and distribute it evenly. Sprinkle everything with basil, cover with a second sheet of foil and put in an oven preheated to 230-250oC for 40 minutes. Determine the readiness for potatoes, it should become soft. Garnish each serving with chopped herbs.

Foil-baked meat

Ingredients:

- 1 kg of meat (pork, lamb);

- 6 cloves of garlic;

- 2 tsp adjika;

- 1 tsp salt.

For baking in foil, choose a whole piece of meat without veins, bones and muscles.

Rinse the meat thoroughly and cut it with a sharp knife into 2 identical parts to reduce cooking time. Rub them with salt on all sides, cut them in several places and stuff with coarsely chopped garlic cloves. Spread the pieces with adjika and wrap each in a foil rectangle very tightly so that there are no cracks. Let the convolutions lie down for half an hour, so that the contents are saturated with spices and give juice.

Preheat the oven to 180oC and bake the meat in it for 2-2.5 hours. Poke it with a fork straight through silver paper. If the teeth of the appliance calmly enter, then tear the foil, increase the temperature to 200 ° C and cook the dish for another 15-20 minutes until a crust is obtained.
