  • - 225 g of crystalline sugar;
  • For cream:

  • - 450 g of strawberries;

  • - 350 ml of fat cream;

  • - 3 tablespoons of kirsch (brandy);

  • - 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar;

  • - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;
  • For glaze:

  • - 300 ml fat cream;

  • - 250 g of milk chocolate (40% cocoa);

Cook the dough. Stir the cocoa powder with hot water and wait until it cools. Put in a large container softened and diced butter, add sugar, add eggs, flour mixed with baking powder and dissolved cocoa. Beat the mixture with a mixer until a thick homogeneous mass is obtained.

Spoon the dough into a round silicone mold with a diameter of 20.5 cm and smooth the surface. Put the mold with the dough on a metal pan and bake from 50 minutes to 1 hour in an oven preheated to 170 ° C. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick. Allow the product to cool completely in the mold, and then turn it over to the wire rack.

Base cake can be baked in advance. It is well stored for 2-3 days in a sealed container or in the freezer for a month. Cut the cake into pieces, and also layered with cream with strawberries should be on the day of serving, so that the berries do not get wet. Gently cut the cake into three parts horizontally.

Make icing. Heat the cream until almost boiling and remove from heat. Chop or grate the chocolate finely. Add to cream and rub thoroughly until chocolate is completely melted. Set aside the icing to cool; it should thicken.

Spread the cake with icing on top and sides with a spatula. Garnish the cake with strawberries.
