You will need

  • - 1 onion,

  • - 50 g of butter or margarine,

  • - 800 g minced beef,

  • salt and pepper to taste,

  • - a pinch of thyme,

  • - 1 egg

  • - 2 tbsp flour

  • For the sauce:

  • - 100 ml of meat broth,

  • - salt with pepper,

  • - lemon juice to taste,

  • - a small piece of butter,

  • - parsley and basil.

Instruction manual

1

Finely chop the onion. In a skillet with a thick bottom over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp. butter. Add onions there and fry, stirring, until soft, about 5 minutes.

2

Put the fried onions in a cup with minced meat, add the egg, thyme, 2 more tbsp. soft butter, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

3

From the minced meat, form 8 round beef steaks 1.5-2 cm thick, each roll in flour.

4

In the same pan where the onions were fried, heat 1-2 tbsp. vegetable oil. Fry the steaks there until golden brown on both sides, about 2-4 minutes on each side. Then put it on a plate and keep them warm.

5

Pour the broth into the pan and stir well to dissolve the lumps left over from the steaks. Boil the broth in half.

6

Add lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste, butter and let it melt. Then add finely chopped greens, mix and remove the sauce from the heat.
