I like to cook in the oven. Therefore, the baked goods are tasty and eaten in 5 minutes. In my collection I have a huge number of recipes. Today I will share one of them with you. This is a caramel pie.

You will need

  • For the test:

  • - 1-1.5 cups flour

  • - 3 tbsp. l Sahara,

  • - a pinch of salt,

  • - 100 g butter,

  • - 1 yolk.
  • For filling:

  • - 1 cup of sugar,

  • - 1 tsp lemon juice

  • - 3/4 cup cream

  • - 1 tbsp. l butter

  • - 1 egg

  • - a pinch of vanillin,

  • - 1.5 cups of walnut kernels,

  • - 1 bar of creamy chocolate.

Instruction manual

Chop butter with flour into crumbs. Add sugar, salt and yolk, whipped with 2 tbsp. l water. Knead the dough so that it sticks off your hands. Put it in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Roll out the dough into a layer and put in a greased baking dish, forming the sides. Pierce in several places with a fork. Line the dough with foil or parchment paper and fill with dry peas (cereals) so that the base for the pie does not swell during baking.

Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and continue to bake until golden brown (about 10 minutes).

Mix sugar with lemon juice, put it in a frying pan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is caramelized. Gradually add cream and butter. Cool and introduce the egg whipped with vanilla. Stir well until smooth.

Slightly fry the walnut kernels and put on an even layer on the cake. Pour caramel and bake until the filling begins to bubble. Melt the chocolate and decorate it with the finished cake from the pastry bag.
