Potatoes and mushrooms are two ingredients that are very harmoniously combined with each other. If you don’t know what to cook quickly and tasty for dinner, try baking potatoes with mushrooms in the oven with sour cream sauce. The potato is saturated with an amazing mushroom aroma and it turns out very tender and mouth-watering.

You will need

  • - mushrooms (for example, oyster mushrooms) - 400 g;

  • - potatoes - 800 g;

  • - onions - 2 pcs.;

  • - garlic - 3 cloves;

  • - fresh dill - 0.5 bunch;

  • - sour cream - 200 ml;

  • - hard cheese - 200 g (optional);

  • - ground black pepper;

  • - salt;

  • - sunflower oil for frying;

  • - form for cooking;

  • - foil.

Peel onions and garlic. Cut the onions into thin quarter-rings, and pass the garlic through a press or chop with a knife. Wash the mushrooms under running water, dry and chop in large pieces.

Take a pan, pour in sunflower oil and warm it well. Then put the onion and fry it until golden brown. Put the mushrooms, mix them with onions and fry until they begin to produce juice. After that, add chopped garlic, salt to taste and a little black pepper. Stir again and simmer for 5 minutes.

In the meantime, peel, rinse and cut the potatoes into circles no more than 2 mm thick. If the tubers are large, first divide them into two halves.

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. While it is heating, grease the baking dish with sunflower oil. Arrange the potatoes in one or two layers, sprinkle it with ground black pepper and salt. Spread the onion and mushrooms evenly from above, pour sour cream, a little pepper.

Cover the billet with foil, fix the edges and send to the oven for 40 minutes. After the time, remove the form, remove the foil so that the potato regains a golden brown. If desired, at this moment the dish can be sprinkled with grated hard cheese. Add potatoes with mushrooms for about 15 minutes.

Pull the finished dish out of the oven and arrange in portions, sprinkle each of them with chopped dill. Serve it with a fresh vegetable salad or pickles.
