Instruction manual

1

To prepare the simplest version of cranberry sauce, rinse the berries. If you use frozen lingonberries, thaw it. Pour boiling water over the berries and cook for fifteen minutes over medium heat.

2

Mash the berries or rub through a sieve, add sugar and cook for five minutes over low heat, stirring constantly. This sauce is suitable for both meat dishes and sweet desserts.

3

In order to prepare lingonberry sauce with cinnamon, wash the berries and select leaves from them. Pour the prepared lingonberry with water and bring to a boil. Throw the berry in a colander. Pour the water in which the lingonberries cooked, into a bowl and cool.

4

Depending on what consistency of sauce you need, grind lingonberries in a blender or crush with a spoon. Perhaps the dish to which you are going to serve cranberry sauce will look more impressive with a sauce in which berries are visible.

5

Divide the water in which the lingonberry was cooked into two parts. Add starch to one part of the water and stir it. Add the remaining water, sugar, wine and a drop of cinnamon to the crushed lingonberries. Put the mixture on the fire, bring to a boil and boil for five minutes. Add the diluted starch to the sauce, bring the liquid to a boil again and immediately remove from heat.

6

To prepare spicy cranberry sauce for meat, pour the vinegar into a bowl and let it stand for ten minutes. Add washed cranberries, crushed garlic, seasonings and salt to vinegar to taste. You can put sugar in this sauce, or you can not put it - it depends on your preferences. Put the berry on a slow fire and, stirring, bring to a boil.

7

After five minutes, remove the sauce from the heat, cool and mix in a blender. Transfer the mixture to a wide-necked bottle and refrigerate. This sauce is best prepared in advance, because it will be much tastier if infused for several days.
