We decided to make a pie, but do not know which filling to choose? Choose a chicken and you will not regret it. This meat is combined with almost any dough, and in combination with sour cream it becomes very tender.

You will need

  • - flour - 2 cups + 1 tablespoon;

  • - cold butter - 180 g;

  • - eggs - 4 pcs;

  • - milk - 2 tablespoons;

  • - chicken fillet - 400 g;

  • - cream cheese - 250 g;

  • - sour cream - 300 ml;

  • - Swiss cheese - 60 g;

  • - green onions - 1 bunch;

  • - oregano - 2 branches;

  • - mustard - 2 teaspoons.

First you need to prepare the dough for the future pie. Mix the sifted flour with the finely chopped butter and grind everything into crumbs. Then break one egg and separate the protein from the yolk. Add 5 tablespoons of water and a yolk to the mixture of oil, flour. Beat everything thoroughly so that you get a sticky dough. Knead it until it is completely smooth. Form a ball from the dough, wrap it with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for about half an hour.

Chicken meat must be cut into several large pieces and chopped to the state of minced meat using a blender.

Remove the minced meat from the blender and beat the following products in it: cream cheese, 2 eggs, sour cream, mustard, 1 tablespoon of flour, chopped greens. After you have whipped all of the above products, add the minced meat to the resulting mixture and mix thoroughly.

Lubricate the baking dish in which the pie is to be cooked, and place a sheet of parchment on it. Cut 2/3 from the dough, roll out and put in a mold. Pour the dough with a fork and put in the refrigerator for half an hour. After the time has passed, take it out and cover it with parchment on top of which the beans should be placed. Preheat the oven and send the pan into it for 15 minutes. After the time has passed, remove the parchment and beans and bake the dough for another quarter of an hour, and then cool.

Now you should put the filling on the baked base of the future chicken pie.

From the remaining dough you need to make strips, the thickness of which should not exceed 3 millimeters. Put the resulting strips on the filling obliquely, cut off the excess edges. Mix milk with egg yolk and grease the entire surface of the cake with this mixture. Put the dish in the oven for half an hour. Chicken pie in sour cream is ready!
