To prepare the dish you will need:

- walnuts - 0.5 cups;

- onions - 1 pc;

- salt - to taste;

- ground black pepper - to taste;

Sort the lentils, rinse and fill with cool water, then cook for half an hour. Unlike other legumes, lentils do not need to be pre-soaked. Ready lentils should be soft, and the grains should retain their shape. Add salt at the end of cooking.

While preparing the cereal, we wash the dried apricots, and chop the walnuts.

Peel the onion and cut into small pieces. In a pan, heat the sunflower oil and pass the onions until transparent. We put dried apricots in a bowl with lentils, without chopping dried fruits, nuts and fried onions. We reduce the gas to a minimum and simmer moshosh for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

We parsley greens, rinse and remove the excess liquid, shaking several times. Then chop the parsley very finely. We spread the moshosh on a flat plate, sprinkle with ground pepper and chopped herbs.
