Lazy dumplings are a great alternative to classic homemade or shop dumplings. This recipe will help the hostess significantly reduce the cooking time of everyone's favorite dish. Lazy dumplings do not require the process of kneading dough and sculpting. They are prepared very quickly and are tasty and juicy!

  • - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;

  • - water - 100 ml;

  • - tomato paste - 2-3 tablespoons.

  • - water or broth for cooking dumplings;

  • - apple vinegar - 2 tablespoons;

  • - turmeric - 1 teaspoon;

  • - sour cream and herbs for serving.

First prepare the minced meat. It can be purchased or made by yourself. For dumplings, pork and ground beef is best. Salt the minced meat, pepper to your liking and make small balls out of it (about the size of a walnut).

In a large bowl, break two eggs, beat them with a whisk or fork, add salt and black pepper.

Sift flour and pour into a separate deep bowl.

You should get three containers, in one of which flour, in the second prepared minced meat, and in the third beaten egg mass.

Take the meat balls and, using a tablespoon, put them in the sifted flour and mix gently. Then transfer the balls, boned in flour to the egg mixture, mix again.

The thickness of the test in lazy dumplings depends on how many times to dip the minced meat in flour and egg. That is, the more times you do this, the dough will be thicker. In this recipe, it is recommended to do this three times. If you make fewer layers, then the juice from the meat in the process of cooking can leak. The last layer should be made from flour.

If you want the dumplings to look neat, then just before cooking, our lazy dumplings can be slightly rolled out in the palm of your hand, like meatballs, giving them the shape of balls.

Put water or broth for dumplings in advance on the stove and prepare a pass for the broth.

To prepare the passions, peel and wash the onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion, and grate the carrots. Pour oil into a heated pan, put the prepared onions, fry a little and add carrots. Pour water into a pan, stew vegetables a little, at the end of cooking put tomato paste, salt, pepper or spices to taste.

If you cook dumplings in water, then, if desired, to improve the taste in water, you can add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.

For a beautiful rich yellow color, add a teaspoon of turmeric to the water or broth.

Cook the dumplings for 8-10 minutes over medium heat.

Serve lazy dumplings with sour cream and herbs.

It is important to remember that cooking liquids should be about four times larger than dumplings. During cooking, gently stir the dumplings so that they do not stick together.

When rolling lazy dumplings in flour, it is very convenient to use a plastic container with a lid. You put the minced balls in a container with flour, close the lid and shake the container slightly. This speeds up the cooking process, as there is no need to stir the meat balls with a spoon.
