You will need

    • 1 kg of ham;
    • 1 head of garlic;
    • 100 g mayonnaise;
    • 50 g of mustard;
    • 1 tablespoon of salt;
    • spice;
    • garlic press or mortar with pestle;
    • oven and other kitchen utensils.

Instruction manual

1

Prepare chicken legs. Rinse and dry. You can, of course, put them in a bowl or on a dish, but it is better to use a piece of cotton or linen to dry.

2

Chicken legs must be marinated. To do this, while they dry, take the garlic mixture for coating. Take a not very large head of garlic, peel it. Crush slices with a press. If you don’t have one, you can chop the garlic and grind it in a porcelain mortar.

3

Put the garlic in a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and spices. Mix all this properly. The amount and composition of spices depends on your taste. The dish is sharp enough without them. With what you have done, coat the legs and leave them to marinate for four hours. Do not spare the mixture; cover the whole legs with a sufficiently thick layer.

4

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Take a dry baking sheet, put chicken legs on it. Pour some water. Put the dish in the oven and bake until half cooked. It will take half an hour or a little more.

5

For pouring, take 100 g of mayonnaise and 50 g of prepared mustard. Mayonnaise can be anything, but the best is the classic Provence without any additives, especially if you pickled the legs with a lot of spices. Mustard - from a tube or from a jar.

6

Remove the pan from the oven. Lubricate the legs with a thick layer of fill. Put it all back in the oven. Bake the dish at the same temperature until cooked, that is, about a quarter of an hour.

7

Put the legs on a dish and serve hot. Boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, fried and stewed vegetables are suitable as a side dish. You can take the legs cooked in this way with you and on a picnic. To do this, they are best wrapped in foil. Of course, they will cool off a bit, but still remain very tasty and juicy.
