    • two cloves of garlic;

    • ground black pepper to taste;
    • lettuce leaves.

Wash the chicken carcass, put in a pan, fill with two liters of cold water, add salt and cook for one hour. Throw the finished chicken into a colander, and then divide it into portions. Collect the broth, it will come in handy for the sauce.

To prepare the sauce in sour cream, add salt, pepper, bring to a boil over low heat. In two tablespoons of chicken broth, dilute the flour, add another 100 ml of broth and mix well. Pour the resulting mixture in a thin stream into boiling sour cream, add basil leaves, thyme (thyme). Cook the sauce over low heat for another five minutes. Peel the garlic, pass through a press or chop finely. Add it to the sour cream sauce at the very end of cooking.

Fold the pieces of chicken in a large heat-resistant container, fill with sauce and bake in the oven for ten minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. You can do it differently, for example, put portioned chicken pieces in ceramic pots, fill with prepared sauce and put in the oven for the same ten minutes.

Sort out the dill, rinse thoroughly and chop. On a large dish, spread the washed and dried lettuce leaves, lay on top the pieces of chicken with sauce. Sprinkle with chopped dill. Chicken cooked in sour cream is good both hot and cold.

Baked in the oven vegetables: carrots, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, onions are suitable for such a dish. Cut them into large slices, circles, previously washed and cleaned. Salt the vegetables, drizzle with vegetable oil if desired, mix, put on the grill and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Useful advice

If you want the broth to be tasty, you need to boil chicken during cooking with boiling water. If the taste of the finished meat is more important to you, pour cold water over the bird during cooking.
