Croutons are an extremely simple dish to prepare, which, however, can also become a signature dish. There are little secrets in preparing croutons, and if you know them, you can fry croutons that all your homemade ones will eat with undisguised pleasure.

It is worth a try, because in order to prepare croutons, you do not need any exotic products. And you don’t have to spend a lot of time on cooking this dish.

In order to prepare croutons, we need: two long loaves (dried), ten chicken eggs, 200 grams of dry smoked sausage, 200 grams of butter, four tomatoes, one head of garlic, 400 grams of mayonnaise, a bunch of fresh herbs.

• Cut bread into identical slices about a centimeter thick and dip each slice on both sides in warm ghee. Make sure that the croutons are not saturated with oil, but only lightly touch its surface.

• Heat the empty pan well and fry the bread in it, turning it over until the croutons are nicely browned on both sides.

• After this, remove the croutons from the pan and let cool. Meanwhile, cook hard-boiled eggs.

• Peel the finished eggs and grate them on the largest grater.

• Peel the garlic and, dipping its cloves in salt, rub each crouton on one side.

• After the croutons are rubbed with garlic, spread each of them with mayonnaise - in a layer that you think is optimal. Pay special attention to the edges of the toast.

• Sprinkled croutons with mayonnaise, sprinkle with a grated egg, trying to distribute it as evenly as possible.

• Cut the tomatoes as thin as possible, and finely chop the fresh herbs.

• Put a sausage on each toast next to a thin tomato, salt a little and sprinkle with chopped greens on top.

• To make croutons as tasty as possible, first put them in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, let them soak, and only then serve them on the table.
