Even those who only drink coffee in the morning will not deny the benefits of a full breakfast. Many people prefer to eat scrambled eggs for breakfast. In order for this dish to have new flavors every time, you can add various ingredients to it or serve it in the form of a roll.

    • chicken eggs - 4 pieces;
    • milk - 1 cup;
    • flour - 1 tablespoon;
    • vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon;
    • Bulgarian pepper - 1 piece;
    • sun-dried tomatoes in oil - a few pieces;
    • onions - 1 piece;
    • thin pita bread - 1 piece;
    • spices
    • salt
    • greens to taste.

Prepare the vegetables: peel and chop the small onions. Then wash the pepper, cut it into two halves and remove the seeds. Cut the pepper into strips 3-4 cm long and 1 cm wide.

Remove the dried tomatoes from the jar, let them lie on a paper napkin so that the excess oil is gone and cut them in strips. Green (parsley, dill - whatever you like), rinse and dry. Then chop it finely.

Pour the vegetable oil into the pan, heat it and pour the chopped onion. Pass it until transparent, the onion should be soft, do not fry it until golden. Then add pepper and dried tomatoes to the pan in a minute. Reduce heat and let simmer for several minutes.

While the vegetables are warming in a pan, break the eggs into a deep bowl, pour a glass of milk, salt. Spice lovers can add ground black pepper. Beat the egg mass with a whisk or fork. In the process of whipping, add a spoonful of flour. It’s great if you have a blender or a submersible mixer, then you can do this step in a few seconds. But if you have one fork at your disposal, it’s also not scary: work energetically with a fork for a minute - one and a half and you're done.

If the vegetables have softened sufficiently, pour them with egg mixture, sprinkle with greens on top and cover with a lid. Check the fire - it should not be strong so that the omelet is not burnt, and go to do other morning things. You have 5-7 minutes while the omelet is cooked. It’s great if you have a glass lid in a pan, this will allow you to control the cooking process without having to lift it again.

Expand pita bread. It is better if the diameter of your pan approaches in size to the diameter of the pita. Put the finished omelet on the prepared pita bread. The edges of pita bread can be slightly tucked onto an omelet, and then everything is carefully rolled up. It remains to cut the roll into two parts and sit down at the table for breakfast.

If you raise the lid too often and look into the pan, the cooking process will be delayed, as the microclimate under the lid is disturbed. Usually the middle of the omelet is baked last.

Useful advice

It is best to cook an omelet in a cast-iron pan. If you cook omelette often enough, select a separate pan for this dish, which after use will only be wiped dry with paper and dried.
