- - potatoes - 5 pcs.;
- - fresh cabbage - 1/2 head of cabbage;

- - rice - 0.5 cups;
- - salt, pepper, any seasonings;
- - sunflower oil for frying.

Rinse the chicken breast, put in a pan with cold water and cook until tender. When cooked, take it out of the broth and cut into cubes. Smoked pork belly or chicken legs also cut into cubes.

Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces of any size. Peel the cabbage from the top leaves, then chop finely. Peel onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots on a medium grater.

Heat sunflower oil in a pan. Put the cabbage in and fry until slightly brown. Then add onions and carrots to the pan and simmer the vegetables together for about 10 minutes.

Next, put chopped potatoes, cabbage with carrots and onions, raw washed rice into the meat broth. Put boiled and smoked meat on top. Add salt and seasonings to taste. Simmer the stew for 40 minutes.

When frying cabbage, make sure that it does not burn, stir often.

If there are no smoked meat products, then smoked lard is quite suitable for cooking stews.
