Caramelizing fruits: a classic recipe
The classic recipe for caramelizing fruits involves a very small list of ingredients:
- granulated sugar - 10 tbsp. spoons;
- fruits (bananas, pears, apples, peaches, kiwi and so on) - 1 kg.
Take the fruits, rinse them thoroughly and cut into portions. Then put them in a pan. Then sprinkle all the fruits with sugar. Put the pan on fire, cover and let stand for 5-10 minutes (the final time depends on the hardness and ripeness of the fruit). It is important that you do not get mashed potatoes during this, so do not leave the stove. Keep an eye out for fruits. When they give the juice, and the sugar turns into caramel, you can serve the finished dessert to the table, after placing it on the plates.
