When buying confectionery products, expectations are not always justified - the type of filling, its quantity, texture, all this can cause real indignation among the sweet tooth. You can make real chocolates with candied fruits and almonds at home.

You will need
- - 150 g of any chocolate
- - 1 egg
- - lemon juice
- - 15 candied fruits
- - 150 g almonds
- - 100 g of powdered sugar

Boil the almonds for several minutes in water, then cool the nuts and carefully remove the thin film. Put the almonds in a dry frying pan and dry over low heat. Pour the nuts into a blender and grind thoroughly until the crumbs consistency.

In a separate bowl, mix a teaspoon of lemon juice, chopped almonds and powdered sugar. Whisk the protein to the consistency of a lush cream and mix with the almond mass. The mixture should be thick and sticky. Form from it 15 parts.

Make “pancakes” from each almond blank, put one candied fruit in the center of each and form a ball. Put the candies on a plate and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.

Melt the chocolate in a water bath. You can use several types, for example, bitter, white and milk chocolate. If you melt them separately, you can make different types of shells for sweets.

Dip the almond balls in melted chocolate so that their entire surface is covered with a sweet mixture. Lay the blanks on a wire rack and wait for the chocolate to solidify. Chocolate candies can be decorated with strips of colored glaze on top.
