You will need

  • - 1 kg of chicken;

  • - ½ onion heads;

  • - ½ cup walnut kernels;

  • - 2 cloves of garlic;

  • - 0.5 tsp ground red pepper;

  • - 0.5 tsp turmeric

  • - 1 tsp ground ginger;

  • - 0.5 tsp ground caraway seeds (for an amateur);

  • - 1.5 tbsp. l soy sauce;

  • - 1 cup of vegetable oil;

  • - salt;

  • - 0.5 tsp ground black pepper.

Instruction manual

1

Make a walnut marinade. To do this, dry the kernels of walnuts in a dry pan.

2

Peel the garlic and onions. Place them with dried nuts in a blender. Add pepper and other spices, pour soy sauce and a little vegetable oil. Turn on the blender and bring the mixture to a pasty state. Add the remaining oil and mix everything.

3

Slice the chicken into portions. Salt and place in a pan. Pour in a walnut marinade and mix in such a way that each piece of the bird is covered with marinade. If you think that the marinade is not enough, just add a little vegetable oil.

4

Cover the pan with the pickled meat with a lid or cling film. Put it in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. Ideal - all night.

5

String the pickled chicken into skewers and fry the meat over the hot coals until cooked. Do not forget to turn the barbecue from time to time. This kebab can be served with spicy tomato sauce. Bon Appetit!

Useful advice

If you decide to grill the skewers on wooden skewers, 3 hours before cooking soak them in water so that they accumulate moisture.
