Last year, our festive table was more vegetarian, as the rooster prefers vegetable food, and there was practically no meat on the table. But our feathered friend bred his head and was replaced by a dog who did not mind eating the meat. So this year we can please ourselves with our favorite meat dishes, and at the same time appease the yellow earth symbol of the coming year.

Let's start with appetizers and salads. Please note that the dog is happy to take one-time handouts. So do not overload the table with huge portions of salads and appetizers, serve them in tartlets - they have a neutral taste, so you can put any appetizer in them, and the size is suitable to send the entire portion into your mouth at once.

This year, do unusual treats to please the guests and the hostess of next year. Here's an example: a vinaigrette with boiled sausage.

To prepare an unusual salad, you will need: 200 g of dense cooked sausage; 3 boiled potatoes in their skins; medium-sized boiled carrot; 3 pickled or pickled cucumbers; 100 g canned peas; white onion; one boiled beets and Provence mayonnaise.

While potatoes, beets and carrots are cooked, you have time to chop onions with cucumbers and sausage. Since you will serve vinaigrette in tartlets, you need to cut all the ingredients into small cubes. When you mix all the ingredients, season them with mayonnaise and let the salad stand for about an hour. On tartlets, salad should be laid out only before serving! Do not forget to decorate it with greenery.

The second on the list in the New Year’s menu will be Royal Salad with oranges.

New Year's Eve is a real royal holiday: a large table full of various dishes; people in bright and beautiful dresses; decorations and lights everywhere!

So the royal salad will fit in perfectly here, and it consists of: an orange, a chicken egg (it is better to replace it with five quail), garlic cloves, 150 g of crab meat (if you can’t find it, you can replace it with chopsticks), 100 g of sweet corn and 3 tablespoons spoons of sour cream.

While you are peeling and dicing orange and crab meat, eggs (egg) should be boiled at this time. Open a jar of corn and drain all the liquid from it, crush the garlic with a press (it is called common garlic crush). Dispose of the egg (s) and chop finely with a knife. Now lay the salad in layers in a dry bowl or salad bowl: first comes crab meat, then corn, then oranges with eggs. Before pouring salad on sour cream, dilute crushed garlic in it. So the second salad is ready!

Walk like that, walk! Add another amazing salad to your appetizers: Tongue Salad. This is a real merger! Tasting this magic snack, you will have the impression that you are at a banquet in a restaurant. The list of products for the salad: 300 g of calf tongue, large carrot, 2 heads of white onion (not bitter), olive oil, 4 pickled cucumbers (can be replaced with salt), mayonnaise and 4 small onions.

The tongue is cooked for about an hour. When it is ready, peel it from the film and crumble with straws. Onions with carrots are passaged as for soups / borsch, but here the onions should not be crushed, but cut into half rings. But the cucumbers need to be finely chopped; then lay them on a straw from the tongue. Put the sautéed vegetables on the parchment so that the oil remains on it and does not fall into the salad, this is important. After that, lay the vegetables on the cucumbers; season the salad with mayonnaise and garnish with spring onions.

Well, of course, where do we go without hot snacks ?! Although salads and meat, it’s also necessary to please yourself hot. To deliciously feed and at the same time treat your guests, the snack option is ideal for you: Buns with julienne. For them you need: a pound of mushrooms, 2 heads of onions, 40 g of premium wheat flour, olive oil (for frying), hard cheese, 300 g of sour cream, 8 small crispy buns.

You can bake buns yourself for this wonderful snack, but ready-made pastries will save you a lot of time, which is so little for cooking and table setting.

Cut the onions into strips and fry a little to become transparent. Add the chopped mushrooms to it (you can also chop them with straws) and fry everything until cooked. Sprinkle flour with onions and mushrooms and slowly add sour cream in them. So you got a very tasty julienne. Cut the tops off the buns and take out the crumb; fill the empty buns with julienne and sprinkle with grated cheese. Then put the crown back in place. Now spread the rolls with julienne on a baking sheet and send them to the oven at 200 degrees for no more than 5-7 minutes! During this time, the cheese will have time to melt, and we don’t need more, because the dish is already ready. So, the cheese has melted, so you can take the snack out of the oven and serve it!
