- - Sweet pepper of different colors - 5 kg,
- - peppercorns - 2 tbsp. l.,
- - bay leaf - 5 pcs.,
- - cloves - 5 buds,
- - garlic - 5 cloves,
- - ground chili pepper - half a tsp.,
- - water - 2 l
- - salt - 2 tbsp. l.,
- - sugar - 6 tbsp. l.,
- - vinegar - 2 tbsp. l

Wash the pepper, cut the stalks, remove the seeds and cut into strips 3-4 cm wide. Wash the jars well, sterilize. We collect water in a pan. Add salt, sugar, vinegar. Bring to a boil.

If necessary, add salt or vinegar to the marinade. Dip the pepper in the marinade and cook over very low heat for 5-6 minutes. Peppers should not become soft or boil. At the bottom of each jar, put peppercorns, cloves, bay leaves, add chili peppers and garlic.

Now we get pepper from the marinade and put it in the cans while still hot. Pepper must be laid tightly, gently pressing. We bring the marinade to a boil. Pour them peppers. We cover the cans with lids, roll up and turn over for 10-12 hours. You can store such pepper in a dark place. Pepper preserved in this way is the best addition to fried potatoes.
