Carp is a tasty and healthy fish that contains antioxidants in its composition, helping our body not to age, and also beneficially affecting metabolism and digestion. Carp is a very low-calorie fish that contains easily digestible proteins, so it can be included in the diet menu. Let's cook carp baked in the oven with onions and sour cream gravy.

Carp is good in that it has fairly large bones that are easily removed. This fish goes well with onions and sour cream gravy, thanks to which the carp turns out to be very tender and tasty. Onions can be used as a side dish.

To prepare this dish you will need approximately 1 hour and the following ingredients:

- carp - 1 pc. (1.5 kg);

- onions - 2 pcs.;

- butter - 50 g;

- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l.;

- pepper - to taste;

- salt - to taste.

To make sour cream sauce:

- butter - 50 g;

- flour - 2 tbsp. l.;

- sour cream - 250 g.

First you need to do the preparation of the carp: rinse the fish well, remove all the mucus and gills, clean the scales. Make a longitudinal section and remove the insides. Make sure your carp is well washed and there is no blood residue inside. If you purchased a peeled carp, you must rinse it well, and then dry it on a paper towel.

Now the carcass of your fish must be well salted and add pepper, both outside and inside. Make cuts on both sides of the carcass at a distance of 1 centimeter. Next, the carp should be left for about 20-30 minutes, so that it is well saturated.

Meanwhile, prepare the sour cream sauce and onions. Wash onions, peel and cut into half rings. Melt the butter in the microwave, then add sour cream and flour to this mass, mix well. Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add cream and fry the onion until golden brown.

Next, the fried onions must be put in the abdomen of your card, put the remaining onion on top.

On a greased baking sheet, lay the carp, sprinkle with onion and fill with sour cream filling, put into the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.

After the specified time, the carp, baked in the oven with onions in sour cream sauce, is completely ready and can be served. Cutting this dish is best immediately when guests or home. As a side dish, potatoes or fried onions are well suited.
