Shrovetide - for many, one of the most beloved Russian holidays. Pancakes are a traditional Shrovetide dish, which is so loved by both old and young. But since Shrovetide is celebrated for a whole week and pancakes can get bored, a pancake cake is an excellent option for variety.

  • - milk - 700 ml

  • - flour - 1.5 tbsp.

  • - salt - 1/3 tsp

  • - sugar - 1 tbsp.

  • - slaked soda - 0.5 tsp

  • - chocolate - 100 g
  • For cream:

  • - cottage cheese - 500 g

  • - cream - 600 ml

  • - powdered sugar to taste

  • - vanillin

Cooking pancake dough. In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and salt. Pour milk, add slaked soda in vinegar. Then, constantly stirring, gradually add flour. In a water bath in a separate bowl, melt the chocolate. The resulting chocolate mass is added in a thin stream to the pancake dough. Mix everything thoroughly.

Lightly grease the frying pan and set it on fire. After it warms up to high temperature, bake pancakes on it.

While the finished pancakes cool, you should prepare the cream. Take chilled cream and add powdered sugar into them, after which you need to beat all this well. In the mixture, add the cottage cheese previously passed through a sieve and mix thoroughly. The cream is ready.

Take a suitable, preferably flat dish. Put pancakes on it, carefully smearing each pancake with a layer of curd cream. In order to better soak the cake, it is recommended to put it in the refrigerator for the night.

Soda can be quenched not only with vinegar, but also with lemon juice.
