You will need

  • - potatoes - 1 kg;

  • - large onions - 1 pc.;

  • - chicken eggs - 4 pcs.;

  • - flour - 3 tbsp. l without a hill;

  • - hard cheese - 100 g;

  • - breadcrumbs - 100 g;

  • - sunflower oil - 100 ml;

  • - ground black pepper;

  • - salt;

  • - green onions, dill and sour cream - for serving.

Instruction manual

1

First, peel the potatoes and rinse. Then put it in a saucepan, pour in cold water, add 1 teaspoon of salt, bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender. After this, drain the water, and cool the potatoes in a cool place.

2

Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes. Chilled potatoes and cheese grate on a medium grater. After that, put all the crushed ingredients in a bowl and add flour, 2 chicken eggs, black pepper and salt to taste to them. Then mix thoroughly together. From the resulting mass, form round non-flat cakes (in the form of fritters) and roll them in flour.

3

Take a frying pan, heat it, pour in sunflower oil and heat. Break the remaining two eggs into a separate bowl and beat with a fork. Pour breadcrumbs into a plate. After that, put potato cakes, crackers and beaten eggs next to the pan so that everything is at hand.

4

Now take the pancakes one at a time (picking them up with a fork), first dip in the eggs, and then in the breadcrumbs, and put in the pan. Fry them until a crispy crust appears on both sides.

5

Transfer the prepared potato pancakes to the dish. Chop green onions and dill and sprinkle on top. Serve hot along with sour cream.
