You can make a pie with jam from plums, currants, apples, orange peels - the main thing is that the filling is thick. As an option - homemade jam or jam. Start making dough ahead of time, as part of it will need to be frozen.

Melt a 200-gram packet of margarine in a bowl and dissolve a glass of granulated sugar in it. When the resulting mass has cooled, beat a couple of raw eggs and a small pinch of vanillin into it. With constant stirring, add sifted wheat flour (4 cups) with 5 g of baking powder.

Knead shortbread dough until it stops sticking to your hands, if necessary, add flour. Separate the third part and put, wrapped in polyethylene, in the freezer for 45-50 minutes. Hold the rest at room temperature, covering with a clean cotton cloth.

Cover the baking sheet with parchment and evenly lay on it two parts of the cooked dough. Spoon the jam for the pie. If desired, you can add frozen berries (raspberries, strawberries), but not much so that the filling is not too liquid. Grate the frozen part of the dough on top with a coarse grater and bake a shortcake with jam at a temperature of 200 ° C for half an hour.
