To smoke chicken in an air grill, you don’t need any complicated devices. It is enough to make alder shavings, thanks to it the chicken will acquire an unusual aroma and taste.

Rinse the chicken carcass and grate with salt inside and out. Put in a plastic bag and keep in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours. You can do this at night, and in the morning start smoking chicken, or do these manipulations in the morning (you only need 5 minutes to do everything), and start cooking after a working day.

Put a piece of foil on the low grill grill, lay chicken on it. On a high grill, install a steamer with chips.

Set the aerogrill to high speed and a temperature of 250 degrees. Bake chicken for ten minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 160-150 degrees and bake for another 40 minutes. Smoked chicken is ready, if its skin acquires a beautiful chocolate shade, if it is still yellowish, set it for another 10-15 minutes. The dish can be served both hot and cold.
