You can make aromatic glasse coffee at home. The drink is especially good in the summer heat, because one of the ingredients is always ice cream.

In order to prepare one serving of glasse coffee, you will need: a cup of espresso coffee, a teaspoon of sugar (better than cane), a cup of your favorite ice cream (ideally creamy ice cream) and chocolate chips. For decoration - whipped cream, fresh strawberries and mint leaves.

Ingredient preparation

One of the constant components of the drink is espresso. The most proper taste is coffee brewed in a coffee maker.

For the preparation of espresso, grains of strong roasting are taken, but in no case overcooked. The finished drink should not have a burnt taste or smell. Now there are several types of grain coffee on sale, it is worth buying the packaging that says "espresso". It is traditionally believed that one of the best blends for coffee is the Italian Lavazza, but any other that contains arabica and robusta is also suitable.

The grinding of the beans should be fine, but do not get carried away and turn them into coffee flour. Having achieved the desired grain consistency, you can begin to make coffee.

The most delicious coffee is brewed in a carob. The finished drink has a reddish dense foam with streaks. A dark color will tell about a large amount of coffee or too fine grinding of grain. Light will remind you that coffee was poured less than required.

Making Glasse Coffee

In the brewed espresso it remains to add cane sugar, stir and leave to cool for a while. At this time, put the ice cream in a coffee glass with a tablespoon, after which - add chilled espresso.

Add whipped cream to the mixture of espresso and ice cream. You can use ready-made or beat yourself. For cooking, Parmalat 33% is suitable.

In order to decorate the finished coffee with a glaze, you will need grated chocolate. It is best to use milk without additives. Grate the required amount of chocolate on a coarse grater, pour chips over whipped cream. It remains only to insert a straw into the glass and the coffee is ready for the glaze!

You can serve the drink both chilled and hot with fresh strawberries and mint. To enhance the taste, add a little cognac or coffee liquor to the coffee itself.
