You will need

  • - Chicken meat (thighs or drumsticks) - 700 g;

  • - Potato - 1 kg;

  • - Red onion - 2 pcs.;

  • - Bell pepper fleshy (yellow or green) - 1 pc.;

  • - Black ground pepper - 1 tsp;

  • - Red ground pepper (or a mixture of peppers) - 1 tsp;

  • - Salt - 1 tbsp. l.;

  • - Turmeric - 1 tsp;

  • - Vegetable oil - 40 ml;

  • - Greens (dill or parsley);

  • - A baking sheet or baking dish.

Instruction manual

1

Wash chicken thighs (drumsticks) under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Peel the potatoes and red onions, and remove the stalk and seeds from the bell pepper.

2

Then cut the potatoes into 6-8 circles (parts), and chop the bell pepper and onion in large pieces. After that, put all the prepared ingredients in a large bowl.

3

In a small bowl, mix salt, turmeric, and black and red peppers. Pour the resulting mixture into a bowl for chicken and vegetables, add vegetable oil and mix everything thoroughly.

4

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 220 degrees. In the meantime, cover the pan with parchment paper. If you have a mold, grease it with oil. Transfer the chicken with vegetables, evenly distributing them on all surfaces.

5

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes until the potatoes are ready. Arrange the finished dish in portions, sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve with fresh vegetable salad or pickles.
