In Russia, traditionally baked for all holidays and family feasts large open or closed pies with filling. The dough for these purposes was used differently. To prepare a rich yeast dough you need to take:
- fresh yeast - 100 grams;
- butter - 200 grams;
- granulated sugar - 3 tbsp. spoons (for sourdough);
- sugar (for dough) - 1 cup;
- wheat flour - 1 kilogram;
- raw milk - 1 cup;
- raw eggs - 5 pieces;
- vanillin - on the tip of a knife.
Additionally, for filling the pastry cake you will need a very thick jam from prunes or apples.
