You will need

  • - a blender;

  • - sea fish 200 g;

  • - potatoes 4 pcs.;

  • - carrots 2-3 pcs.;

  • - butter 40 g;

  • - milk 20 ml;

  • - 0.5 teaspoon salt;

  • - fresh green peas 1/4 cup;

  • - Red onion;

  • - greens of dill.

Instruction manual

1

Peel potatoes and carrots and cook until half cooked, no more than 10 minutes. Salt the vegetables.

2

Wash the fish fillet, cut into large pieces and add to the vegetables. Cook together for about 10 minutes. Then drain the water and leave one carrot for decoration.

3

Boil green peas separately for 15-20 minutes. Drain the water. Beat carrots, potatoes and fish with a blender or mash with a fork. You should get a smoothie. At the end, add milk and butter.

4

Put the mashed potatoes on the dish, giving it the shape of a fish. Cut the laid-out carrots into thin slices. Put carrots on top of mashed potatoes in the form of scales. Spread boiled green peas around. Garnish the dish with red onion and dill.

note

In mashed potatoes, zucchini, cauliflower and onions can be added to taste. Also, instead of milk, you can use sour cream or heavy cream.

Useful advice

If the mashed potatoes turn out thick, add more milk to it to dilute. To decorate the dish, canned peas are also suitable.
