Crab sticks are made from marine fish meat. They also include starch and various nutritional supplements. Minced fish (surimi) in the product contains from 25 to 50%.

Chinese cabbage salad with crab sticks recipe

To make a salad you will need:

- Chinese cabbage - 1 average head of cabbage;

- crab sticks - packaging 240 g;

- onion red turnip (Crimean) - 1 pc.;

- canned sweet corn - 1 can;

- mayonnaise - 2-4 tablespoons taste;

- a bunch of greenery for decoration;

- a pinch of salt.

Start cooking salad with cabbage. Separate the leaves from the head of cabbage. To do this, you can simply cut off the "butt" of the vegetable, capturing a few centimeters of leaves. Remove the stump itself. Big lovers of cabbage can cut it into a salad with a head of cabbage. Finely chop all the leaves of cabbage and put in a deep salad bowl.

Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Send after the cabbage. So that later the vegetable does not exude its harsh aroma, it can already be dipped in boiled water in a chopped state. Instead of Crimean red onions, you can use the usual golden one. In fact, this is not of fundamental importance. Just red onions are slightly sweeter in taste and prettier in color. Therefore, the salad will look more interesting with it.

The next ingredient, crab sticks, is removed from the refrigerator and thawed. Peel the sticks from the film, cut into slices or strips and send them to the salad bowl to other products.

The taste of sticks from quick defrosting under water does not change.

Open a can of corn, but not completely, leaving 1/6 of the lid not cut off with a can opener. Press the slightly cut edge of the lid against the corn and drain the brine to the last drop. You do not need him. Pour the corn into a salad bowl. Season the salad with mayonnaise, salt and mix. Garnish the dish with a bunch of greens and serve.

Asian salad with tomatoes and sweet pepper

Ingredients for cooking:

- Beijing cabbage - medium forks;

- ripe tomatoes - 3 medium pcs.;

- onion turnip - 1 pc.;

- Bulgarian red pepper - 1 pc.;

- eggs - 2 pcs.;

- canned sweet corn - 1 can;

- crab sticks - 1 package in 200 g;

- mayonnaise - 150 g;

- salt to taste.

Set eggs to cook. Remove the crab sticks from the refrigerator and defrost. Remove the core from the pepper. Thawed sticks free of film.

Cool the finished eggs, cut into small cubes. Separate the leaves of Beijing cabbage from the head, wash under water, dry and chop finely. Wash tomatoes and pepper, cut into small slices. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Chop the crab sticks in circles or straws. Put all the ingredients in a deep container. Add mayonnaise and mix everything thoroughly. Put the prepared salad carefully and beautifully in the salad bowl and serve it on the table.
