Multi-colored pancakes will appeal to even the largest gourmets. They are not only very beautiful, but also useful. And to make them is not at all difficult. I propose to cook breakfast for the whole family according to a simple recipe.

You will need

  • - flour - 2.5 cups;

  • - eggs - 5 pcs.;

  • - butter - 200 g;

  • - milk 2.5% - 4 cups;

  • - sugar - 0.5 cups;

  • - fresh spinach - 30 g;

  • - fresh beets - 1 pc.;

  • - fresh or frozen blueberries - 50 g;

  • - cocoa powder - 1 tsp

Cooking the dough. Separate the yolks from the proteins. Beat the proteins until a stable foam, add a couple of drops of lemon juice.

Add the yolks, sugar, melted butter, milk to the flour, mix well with a mixer. Gently spread whipped proteins into the mass, mix with a spoon.

The main dough is ready.

Divide the dough into 5 equal parts (pour into separate cups).

Grind the spinach in a blender and combine it with one part of the dough. It turned out a dough of a beautiful green color, and the taste was not changed at all.

Rub the beets on a fine grater, squeeze the juice through cheesecloth. Add beetroot juice to the second part of the dough. We got red dough. Depending on the amount of juice, the dough takes on different shades (from pink to ruby).

Grind blueberries in a blender, wipe through a sieve. Add blueberry puree to the third part of the dough. It turned out amazing blue dough.

In the fourth part of the dough, add cocoa. The pancakes will turn out chocolate color.

We don’t add anything to the last part of the test. It will make ordinary pancakes.

We bake pancakes in a pan. You can bake small pancakes with a standard oval shape. And you can use silicone molds. Put the mold on the pan and ladle pour the dough into the mold. When the time comes to turn the pancake over, we remove the form.

Since there is oil in the dough, you can skip the pan with oil. It is advisable to fry the pancakes over low heat.
