You will need

  • - 650 g of potatoes;

  • - 150 g of red lentils;

  • - 1 PC. chili peppers;

  • - a bunch of green onions;

  • - a bunch of cilantro (can be replaced with parsley);

  • - 1 egg;

  • - ginger root;

  • - 1/4 tsp nutmeg;

  • - 50 g of flour;

  • - salt;

  • - pepper.

Cook potatoes in their skins. Let cool, peel and mash. Cook the lentils as indicated on the packaging.

Remove the seeds in the chili pepper and chop it finely. Rinse cilantro and onion, chop them finely. Add lentils, onions with cilantro and mashed pepper, mix everything thoroughly. Beat the egg and add spices to taste. Mix everything well.

Add a little flour, mix everything again. You can start making cutlets. Heat a frying pan with oil and, having rolled your patties in flour, you can start frying them over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side, until the patties begin to turn golden.

Put the finished vegetable cutlets on a paper towel so that excess fat is absorbed into it. The dish is ready to eat.
