  • - croutons with garlic - 270 g;

  • - canned beans - 1 can;

  • - finely chopped champignons - 200 g;

  • - oregano leaves - 1 tbsp;

  • - coarsely chopped capers - 2 tbsp;

  • - white wine - 2 glasses;

  • - tomato sauce - 700 g;

  • - chopped finely garlic - 6 cloves;

  • - red onion - 3 pcs;

  • - chicken thighs - 1.7 kg;

  • - olive oil - 60 ml.

Pour oil into a deep cauldron or pan with a thick bottom and put on fire, warm up.

Remove the bones and skin from the chicken thighs, and then cut the meat into large pieces. Pour the pieces into a preheated cauldron or in a pan and sauté for 10 minutes. At the very end, add pepper and salt.

Then pour the wine, tomato sauce, add oregano, capers. Mix everything well. Reduce temperature to low.

Continue stewing the dish for another 40 minutes until the sauce thickens. Then add the mushrooms and simmer, stirring, for another 10 minutes. Mushrooms should become soft.

Serve the ready-made hunting chicken along with the beans as a side dish, with garlic croutons.
